Our Year 11 maths support meets your child wherever they are in their senior pathway, whether that is Essential, General, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics. Their tutor helps them work through challenging topics, strengthen the foundations those topics rely on, and build confidence as the work becomes more demanding.
We start with an assessment to understand your child’s current maths level, identify any gaps in understanding across multiple year levels of the Australian Curriculum, and see where they are ready to move ahead. From there, we create a personalised weekly learning plan tailored to their needs.
Your child’s personalised learning plan is delivered weekly and can be completed at home on a tablet or computer. Each Monday, new 20-minute maths lessons are added based on your child’s progress, helping keep learning at the right level and supporting a consistent learning routine.
As your child strengthens their foundations, you’ll see them build skills and confidence in maths, and keep moving forward at a pace that feels right for them.

When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, we focus on understanding which senior pathway they are taking and which topics they need support with, so their tutoring is targeted where it helps most.

Every Monday, we update your child's learning plan with new maths activities for the week, selected based on their assessment results and progress. Your child's learning plan is structured around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
When your child first starts with Kinetic Education, their learning plan targets the knowledge gaps identified in their assessment. For Year 11 students, this may include revisiting earlier number skills, algebra, equations, graphing, trigonometry, fractions, decimals, percentages or measurement before moving into more complex senior maths.
Once their foundations are stronger, your child practises the skills being covered in their Year 11 maths pathway. This may include practical maths, financial maths, algebra, matrices, functions, graphs, probability, calculus, vectors or proof, depending on the subject they are studying.
When your child is feeling confident in Year 11 maths, we give them the opportunity to move ahead while still working at a pace that suits them.
Year 11 is where senior maths steps up, and the right support can make a real difference. We started the program with my daughter who is in year 7. When she first started she had gaps all the way back to grade 4 with her mathematics. Not even a year into starting Kinetic and she has already caught up to her year level and learning so much. We have been so happy with Kinetic Education. I am using it with all of my children and have found it to be a wonderful program for children who have just started primary school as well as those in high school.
