We begin with our Maths Doctor assessment, which helps us understand exactly where your child’s learning currently is and identify any gaps that may be holding them back.
This gives us a clear picture of what your child understands and where they need support, so we can create a personalised plan that helps things click and makes learning feel more manageable.
By identifying these gaps early, we can support your child as they move through primary school, helping them build strong foundations, keep up with their class, and feel more confident with maths over time.
Every Monday, we update your child's learning plan in Maths Wiz with new activities for the week, selected based on their assessment results and progress. Your child’s learning plan is structured around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
Revision and Catch-Up
When your child first gets started, their learning plan focuses on the gaps identified in their assessment. By strengthening these areas early, they build stronger foundations and start to feel more confident with what they’re learning at school.
Consolidation
As their foundations get stronger, your child begins practising what they are learning in class and building a clearer understanding of each concept. This is where things start to click, helping them feel more confident with new topics, making homework less of a struggle, and preparing them for key assessments like NAPLAN.
Extension
When your child is feeling confident, they have the opportunity to move one step ahead. This keeps them engaged, helps them build on what they’ve learned, and gives them the confidence to take on new challenges as they move through primary school.
At Kinetic Education, every family is matched with a maths tutor. Your tutor is there to help your child get off to a strong start, while overseeing their personalised learning plan each week and keeping you updated on their progress.
They also work closely with you to support your child’s learning routine at home. Whether it’s fitting learning in around after-school activities, building consistent habits, or helping your child stay on track each week, your tutor is there to guide and support your family.
Your child’s personalised learning plan gives them everything they need to work at their own pace, with each concept broken into clear, manageable steps and instant feedback to help them understand new ideas, build confidence, and reinforce their learning.
We know that at times, children will need a little extra help or encouragement. When that happens, their tutor is there to guide them using screen sharing and a digital whiteboard.

Our girls and I absolutely love Kinetic education for math. I've seen a lot of improvement since they've started at the beginning of the year. I was blown away to see so many BASIC topics they were behind on, day by day, they are chipping away. I think they enjoy it most because it is only a few minutes of their day, with examples to guide and the added bonus of earning points for every task you complete to get themselves a gift card - a great incentive if you ask me, which has helped with our daughter who has Dyscalculia. Our tutor/ customer support lady, Shell is beautiful! She listens and hears and collectively we work together, which i love as we've never had the support from their teachers which obviously lead to areas that lacked knowledge. So I am very very thankful for Shell and her expertise and being understanding and patient.

Last year my daughter in year 7 was very behind in Math. We tried to find tutoring for her and my husband came across Kinetic Tutoring which works well for us in terms of affordability and easy online app access. The pricing was very affordable for both math and english lessons, and they allow my second daughter to join at no additional cost. Both kids went on initial test to see their level and where the gaps are. It was very helpful to find out that my eldest had gaps even from year 3 maths. We signed up in July and with routine weekly tasks, both daughter closed these gaps in few months. The app gives weekly lessons review to see their score on various subjects, and where they see areas that need improvement, the app will repeat the subjects until my kids improve their score. There are rewards points as well for the kids that they can redeem for gift cards, which help motivate them. We also receive regular calls from Raj, our wonderful tutor support to check in on the girls progresses. Occassionally he would offer writing projects for the girls of which they could earn more reward points. Amazing app, amazing system, amazing support, at a very affordable rate admist rising costs everywhere, our family is very thankful for Kinetic!
