When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, our English tutors begin by identifying their current level against the Australian Curriculum. This helps us understand the skills they've mastered and where they need the most support right now. From there, we create a personalised learning plan tailored to your child's needs.
Your child's personalised learning plan is delivered weekly and can be completed at home on a tablet or computer. New 20-minute English lessons are added based on your child's progress, helping keep learning at the right level and supporting a consistent learning routine.
As your child strengthens their foundations, you'll see them build skills and confidence in reading and writing, and keep moving forward at a pace that feels right for them.
Every family is matched with an English tutor who oversees their child's personalised learning plan and progress. Tutors also provide additional support with writing tasks, including planning, structure, grammar, punctuation and feedback on each draft.
When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, we begin by identifying where they are currently working in English, including sentence building, reading fluency and early comprehension. This helps us see where they may need more practice and where they are ready to move ahead. From there, we create a personalised weekly learning plan, so your child can work through the curriculum at the right pace for them.
We update your child's learning plan with new English activities for the week, selected based on their progress each week. Your child's learning plan is structured around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
When your child first starts with Kinetic Education, their learning plan begins with the early English skills they need most support with. For Year 1 students, this may include revisiting letter sounds, blending or sight words from Foundation.
Once their foundations are stronger, your child practises the skills being covered in Year 1 English. This may include sentence building, reading fluency, rhyming and early comprehension.
When your child is feeling confident in Year 1 English, we give them the opportunity to move one step ahead, while still working at a pace that suits them.
Year 1 is when reading and writing really start to take shape, so it helps to have consistent support along the way. When your family joins Kinetic Education, you are matched with a tutor who helps your child get off to a strong start, while overseeing their personalised learning plan and keeping an eye on their progress each week. Each activity is designed to teach your child, give them instant feedback and help them build confidence as they move through the curriculum.
Our English tutors also provide additional support with writing tasks. If your child is working on a piece of writing, their tutor can give feedback on planning, structure, grammar, punctuation and clarity, helping them improve their next draft with confidence.

Kinetic has been so good for both my children, who are in Grade 1 & 4. We have seen growth in their literacy and numeracy, however exceptional growth in numeracy and their reports are evident of this. Kinetic eduction has proved to being a terrific program for our 6 year old daughter (year 1). The program is tailored to her specific needs, addressing any gaps in her skills and knowledge. Within 6 months into the program, our daughter is working within grade 2 skill sets and thriving at each weekly lesson. Not only this, she thoroughly enjoys the lessons! We feel because the program is tailored to the students individual needs and goals, they're more engaged and focused. We receive regular follow phone calls to discuss our daughters progress and discuss future opportunities and or queries. We haven't required the tutoring service yet, however feel confident enough to do so when the time comes. Safe to say, our other children will be enrolling within the next year.

Your child works through their activities on a tablet or computer, at whatever time works best for your family. Each lesson includes clear explanations, examples and instant feedback. You'll also receive a weekly progress report so you can see exactly what they worked on and how they went.
