When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, our English tutors begin by identifying their current level against the Australian Curriculum. This helps us understand the skills they've mastered and where they need the most support right now. From there, we create a personalised learning plan tailored to your child's needs.
Your child's personalised learning plan is delivered weekly and can be completed at home on a tablet or computer. New 20-minute English lessons are added based on your child's progress, helping keep learning at the right level and supporting a consistent learning routine.
As your child strengthens their foundations, you'll see them build skills and confidence in reading and writing, and keep moving forward at a pace that feels right for them.
Every family is matched with an English tutor who oversees their child's personalised learning plan and progress. Tutors also provide additional support with writing tasks, including planning, structure, grammar, punctuation and feedback on each draft.
When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, we begin by identifying where they are currently working in English, including text response essays, grammar, creative writing and comprehension. This helps us see where they may need more practice and where they are ready to move ahead. From there, we create a personalised weekly learning plan, so your child can work through the curriculum at the right pace for them.
We update your child's learning plan with new English activities for the week, selected based on their progress each week. Your child's learning plan is structured around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
When your child first starts with Kinetic Education, their learning plan targets the areas they need the most support with. For Year 8 students, this may include revisiting text response basics, sentence structure or earlier grammar skills before moving into more complex work.
Once their foundations are stronger, your child practises the skills being covered in Year 8 English. This may include text response essays, creative writing, grammar and reading comprehension.
When your child is feeling confident in Year 8 English, we give them the opportunity to move one step ahead, including more advanced content.

We started the program with my daughter who is in year 7. When she first started she had gaps all the way back to grade 4 with her mathematics. We have been so happy with Kinetic Education. I am using it with all of my children and have found it to be a wonderful program for children who have just started primary school as well as those in high school. The tutors have been incredibly encouraging, providing clear explanations helping my children make sense of complex material.
