When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, our English tutors begin by identifying their current level against the Australian Curriculum. This helps us understand the skills they've mastered and where they need the most support right now. From there, we create a personalised learning plan tailored to your child's needs.
Your child's personalised learning plan is delivered weekly and can be completed at home on a tablet or computer. New 20-minute English lessons are added based on your child's progress, helping keep learning at the right level and supporting a consistent learning routine.

Every family is matched with an English tutor who oversees their child's personalised learning plan and progress. Tutors also provide additional support with writing tasks, including planning, structure, grammar, punctuation and feedback on each draft.
When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, we begin by identifying where they are currently working in English, including grammar, vocabulary and writing. This helps us see where they may need more practice and where they are ready to move ahead. From there, we create a personalised weekly learning plan, so your child can work through the curriculum at the right pace for them.
We update your child's learning plan with new English activities for the week, selected based on their progress each week. Your child's learning plan is structured around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
When your child first starts with Kinetic Education, their learning plan targets the areas they need the most support with. For Year 9 students, this may include revisiting earlier grammar, sentence structure or vocabulary skills before moving into more complex work.
Once their foundations are stronger, your child practises the skills being covered in Year 9 English. This may include descriptive language techniques, grammar accuracy and vocabulary building.
When your child is feeling confident in Year 9 English, we give them the opportunity to move one step ahead, including more advanced content as they head towards Year 10.
Year 9 brings the final round of NAPLAN, alongside more sophisticated writing and vocabulary expectations. When your family joins Kinetic Education, you are matched with a tutor who helps your child get off to a strong start, while overseeing their personalised learning plan and keeping an eye on their progress each week. We started the program with my daughter who is in year 7. When she first started she had gaps all the way back to grade 4 with her mathematics. Not even a year into starting Kinetic and she has already caught up to her year level and learning so much. The tutors are extremely friendly and accommodating when you need them and the staff also check in with phone calls to see how she’s enjoying and doing with the program. Definitely glad we joined Kinetic and can’t recommend them highly enough.
We have been so happy with Kinetic Education. I am using it with all of my children and have found it to be a wonderful program for children who have just started primary school as well as those in high school. The tutors have been incredibly encouraging, providing clear explanations helping my children make sense of complex material. They spend around 15 to 20 minutes a day working through them on a tablet or computer, at whatever time suits your family, around school, sport and everything else.
