Your child’s personalised learning plan is delivered weekly and can be completed at home on a tablet or computer. Each Monday, new 20-minute maths lessons are added based on your child’s progress, helping keep learning at the right level and supporting a consistent learning routine.

Mathematical Methods is a senior secondary subject built around functions, calculus, and probability and statistics. Across Years 11 and 12 it moves from the behaviour of functions and graphs into differential and integral calculus, and from the basics of probability into random variables and distributions.
In the first year, students typically work with linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, sequences, and an introduction to rates of change and differentiation. In the second year, the calculus deepens to include integration, and probability extends to discrete and continuous random variables and distributions such as the binomial and normal. It's a subject where each topic assumes the one before it is secure, which is why a gap from earlier in high school can have an outsized effect.
When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, their first step is completing our Maths Doctor assessment. This checks their maths skills across multiple year levels of the Australian Curriculum, including fractions, decimals and percentages.
