When your child gets started with Kinetic Education, their first step is completing our Maths Doctor assessment. This checks their maths skills across multiple year levels of the Australian Curriculum, identifying any gaps in understanding as well as the areas where they're ready to move ahead.
The assessment takes up to 45 minutes and gives you a detailed picture of their current skills, along with clear next steps. From here we create a personalised weekly learning plan, so you can be confident they're being guided through the Curriculum at exactly the right pace.
Every Monday, we update your child's learning plan in Maths Wiz with new activities for the week, selected based on their assessment results and progress. Your child’s learning plan is structured around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
Revision and Catch-Up
When your child first starts with Kinetic Education, their learning plan targets the knowledge gaps identified in their assessment. By filling these gaps first, they build stronger foundations and feel more confident with what they are learning at school.
Consolidation
Once their foundations are stronger, your child practises what is being taught at school and strengthens their understanding. This is when concepts start to click and progress becomes easier to see.
Extension
When your child is feeling confident, we give them the opportunity to move one step ahead. This keeps learning motivating and supports steady progress, while still moving at a pace that works for them.
When joining Kinetic Education your family is assigned a tutor. Your tutor is responsible for making sure your children get off to a great start and oversees the personalised learning plan set for your child.
Our weekly lesson plans ensure that children have the support and direction they need to work at their own pace throughout the curriculum. Even though every activity provides instant feedback, and Maths Wiz teaches, skill builds, revises and tests your child, we realise that sometimes children need even more help.
That's where our maths tutors step in, when your child needs that extra bit of help and encouragement, you can speak to a real tutor. Our tutors can even share their screen, with your child, so they can see and hear the explanation. It's just like being in the same room together.
Our tutors are also on hand for parents. Parents can call our tutors to discuss their child’s educational needs and progress as well as the weekly reports we provide you.

Our girls and I absolutely love Kinetic education for math. I've seen a lot of improvement since they've started at the beginning of the year. I was blown away to see so many BASIC topics they were behind on, day by day, they are chipping away. I think they enjoy it most because it is only a few minutes of their day, with examples to guide and the added bonus of earning points for every task you complete to get themselves a gift card - a great incentive if you ask me, which has helped with our daughter who has Dyscalculia. Our tutor/ customer support lady, Shell is beautiful! She listens and hears and collectively we work together, which i love as we've never had the support from their teachers which obviously lead to areas that lacked knowledge. So I am very very thankful for Shell and her expertise and being understanding and patient.
My daughter is improving in her maths skills. As she has discalculia repetition is necessary so she retains concepts. The Kinetic tutorials are engaging and fun for her.
