We begin by assessing your child's skills across multiple year levels of the Australian Curriculum to identify any knowledge gaps that may be holding them back. This is an important first step because it shows us exactly where your child needs support.
The Maths assessment takes up to 45 minutes and provides a detailed report on your child's current skills and how we'll support them next.

Your child's assessment results show us where to begin teaching them, so lessons are tailored to what they need right now. From there, we create a personalised learning plan each week, updated every Monday to align with your child's progress.
Our personalised learning plans are built around three learning stages: Revision and Catch-Up, Consolidation, and Extension.
Revision and Catch-Up
Your child’s personalised learning plan starts by targeting the knowledge gaps identified in their assessment. By filling these gaps first, we strengthen their learning foundations, so they build a solid understanding of the key skills they need to feel more confident and approach classroom learning with greater ease.
Consolidation
With strong foundations in place, your child practises what’s being taught in class and strengthens their understanding. This is when they have that “aha” moment and the concepts that once felt tricky start to click.
Extension
When your child feels confident with what’s being taught in class, we give them the opportunity to move one step ahead. This helps keep learning motivating and engaging, while still moving at a pace that feels right for them.
Step 3: Real Tutors
Your child's personalised learning plan gives them everything they need to work at their own pace, in their own time. Our interactive Maths Wiz and English Wiz tutorials break each concept into clear, manageable steps using pictures, animations, text, and audio. Activities include a range of question types, such as typing, click-and-drag, and missing words or letters, with instant feedback and explanations included.
We know that at times, children will need a little extra help or encouragement. When that happens, their tutor is there to guide them using screen sharing and a digital whiteboard. Tutor support is available after school, Monday to Thursday.
Your child can access up to 10 hours of tutor support each week, included at no extra cost.
Our tutors support your whole family, not just your child. If you have questions about your child’s progress, you can contact the Parent Helpline and speak with your tutor.
These conversations help us better understand your child’s needs and adjust their personalised learning plan accordingly.
