Mary, an experienced Maths teacher and editor, and her husband Bharat, a maths graduate and computer programmer, found that after years of hearing loss, their son was struggling. Although a successful operation restored his hearing, he had missed much of his early learning, and starting school was especially difficult.

Mary and Bharat combined their experience to create simple computer based lessons to support their son. They were surprised by how quickly he began to understand new concepts when learning using the computer. That experience helped shape their belief that with the right support, any child can learn, regardless of the challenges they face.
