Victoria University School of Education is happy to announce that the Maths Wiz ®
on-line program is now available to students in the School of Education.

VUSE students are encouraged to make use of the Maths Wiz ® computer programs,
to improve their understanding of mathematics and how to teach it.

The programs were developed by Kinetic Education in Melbourne and are especially
designed to help young Australians gain an in-depth understanding of mathematical
principles. The program uses the power of the computer to make maths really simple to
understand. Because it is interactive and fun, children take up the challenge and learn
surprisingly rapidly. They find the program very engaging and gain confidence in
themselves. Yet Maths Wiz ® is not a game. It is a structured course, supporting all the
topics which are essential to Primary and Secondary school.

Maths Wiz ® is a very easy way to learn maths, without embarrassment or pressure.
It has been widely used for home-study, without teacher support. In the classroom,
the program allows students to work at their own pace. Weak students can catch up
and stronger students may forge ahead.
